Byron Bay holds a very special place in our hearts for many different reasons, but one that stands out in particular is all the beautiful family memories that are just waiting to be had in this magical little town. With so many things to do here with the little ones, we thought we’d pull together our favourites for you…
The Pass – Kid-Friendly Beach & Nearby Café

We’re so lucky to have plenty of options when it comes to beaches – each one unique in its own way. But a real family friendly gem is The Pass Beach. With a long stretch of shallow water it’s perfect for safe swimming and there's also a nearby café for some lunch or an ice-cream. Your kids will love climbing the stairs to the lookout and exploring the rock pools that form when the tide is high.
The Farm – Animals & Hands-On Learning Workshops

Many happy hours have been spent at The Farm enjoying a fresh pastry and a coffee while the kids run free in the glorious grounds. Your little ones will love meeting all the farm animals and foraging macadamias in the orchard. They also offer school holiday workshops which aim to educate kids on where their food comes from through fun, hands-on experiences on the farm.
Walking Trails – The Lighthouse Walk & The Three Sisters Trail

We’re spoilt for choice here in Byron Bay, with so many walks to explore and stunning views to see! The Lighthouse Walk is a bit of a Byron tradition, offering spectacular views right across the bay and a café to grab a drink or bite to eat. You may even spot a pod of dolphins, sharks or humpback whales along the way! The Three Sisters trail is also a lovely walk if you want something a bit shorter and easier.
Sea Kayaking – Unforgettable Dolphin Experience

Truly an unforgettable family experience you’ll treasure forever. Get up close to dolphins in their natural habitat with a sea kayaking tour in the clear blue waters surrounding Byron Bay. If your kids are really little, they can share a triple-seat kayak with you. The tours are operated by Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club and vary to suit different ages and abilities.
Fun Day Trips – The Crystal Castle & Macadamia Castle

Just a short drive into Byron Bay’s lush hinterland, you’ll discover The Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens; a magical place brimming with giant crystals, sacred statues, beautiful rainforest and botanical gardens. Another family favourite is a day trip to Macadamia Castle Animal Fun Park which offers plenty for the kids to do including animal experiences and mini golf.
We hope that whatever you get up to, you have the best time with your family in Byron Bay! Take a look at our Bump to Bubba Collection for comfortable, flattering styles that grow with your bump and make for easy breastfeeding.
