Pronounced: Zah-Zee-bah

Zaziba Studio is an Australian fashion label making modern casualwear that blends hand-drawn art with thoughtfully designed ready-to-wear collections.

Our prints aren’t stock graphics or AI clones—they’re designed by hand, one linocut, brushstroke, and idea at a time.

Founder Verity Joy Wilson, a printmaker and dress designer, believes your clothes should feel as individual as you are. That’s why every Zaziba piece is made with intention, tailored for comfort, and cut to flatter real bodies (you know, the kind that sit, stretch, and move through actual life).

Our Studio is based in Mollymook Beach, on the South Coast of NSW, Australia, with it's beach culture and rural lifestyle, the label draws on the simplicity of a slower paced life.

About the name:

Zaziba is a word used by my grandmother for the cloth in the kitchen - an item that is woven into all our lives -

My aim is to make ready to wear, slow fashion and weave connection and joy into your daily life.

About Zaziba Studio

Not fast. Not boring. Just really good clothes.

We’re not into mass production or short lived trends. Instead, we make limited runs of beautifully made pieces that get better with wear. Our signature styles—like the sell-out Jaya Pants and art tees—blend an effortless cool vibe with comfort. If you’ve ever wanted pants you can wear from brunch to barefoot on the couch, or a tee that makes strangers ask “where’d you get that?”—you’re in the right place.

Made for beach walks, Pilates, school runs, Negronis.

Our community is full of women doing it all: chasing kids, deadlines, waves, or dreams. They value quality, ease, and a little bit of edge. Zaziba is here for the in-between moments: when you want to feel put-together without putting on a performance.

Handmade ideas. Intentional fashion.

Every piece is designed at our studio on the South Coast, and we work with small production partners who share our values. We’re not perfect, but we’re proud to run a business that’s thoughtful, inclusive, and growing with our customers—one flattering linen pant at a time.

PRODUCTION -

The majority of ZAZIBA is produced in Bali, Indonesia.
I've been working with my Bali sewing collective for over 9 years and have visited the factory many, many times to observe safe and fair working conditions. Tailors are able to work at the factory or take work home to sew in their own time. I do not have strict delivery schedules meaning that the workers aren't forced to do overtime to meet deadlines.

The wonderful Chinese factory I have been working with for over 5 years is based in Shanghai and is a SMETA Audited factory - with a third party Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit certificate.

I understand art takes time, and I respect the incredible craftspeople who bring Zaziba to life.

NOTES -

I was once told that I’m too sentimental (it was actually directed as an insult), but I love that I am, because I feel that being sentimental means I care about the little things; those tiny details that make a favourite garment so special.

Making clothes completes me. I love the feeling of fabric, imagining the possibilities of a small piece of cotton, developing a new design out of something I found in a dusty textile shop…

Fitting, tucking, pinning and unpicking until it’s transformed into something completely new, something unique.

I want to share that passion with you.
